Earlier notice
Nevada State Parks has revised its Cathedral Gorge maintenance notice. The current detail page says Miller Point will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, September 1-2, and the visitor center will be closed Thursday, September 3.
Parking-lot maintenance will prevent access at the affected location on each date. The agency says access is expected to reopen as soon as maintenance is complete; it does not publish a guaranteed reopening time and does not say the entire park is closed.
This update replaces the earlier August 31-September 1 schedule. Check the official notice or park page before traveling.
