Coyote Energy hearing
The draft records a vote to introduce an ordinance and set a public hearing for October 5 at 10 a.m. on the proposed Coyote Energy planned-unit development. The proposal describes up to 1,400 megawatts of solar generation, battery storage and supporting facilities in the Coyote Springs area.

The subsequently posted September 21 draft minutes record approval of the construction agreement with Pearson Brothers Construction under grant L25AC00126. Mike Reese moved approval, Lisa Poulsen seconded and Keith Pearson abstained; the motion carried. This draft record does not establish that the agreement has been executed or construction has begun. A contract price, construction timetable and opening date are not confirmed here.
