USDA extends Supplemental Disaster Relief deadline to September 30
FSA still lists September 30, 2026 for both stages of Supplemental Disaster Relief; producers should arrange application help before the deadline.
The Farm Service Agency’s national deadline page, checked September 13, still lists September 30, 2026 for the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program. USDA’s August 10 announcement applies that deadline to both Stage 1 and Stage 2.
The program concerns qualifying 2023 and 2024 disaster losses, not every current farm expense. USDA describes Stage 1 as using crop-insurance or NAP information and Stage 2 as covering eligible non-indemnified, uncovered and quality losses. Eligibility and documentation depend on the operation and loss.
USDA says affected Stage 1 quality-loss applicants with missing production data must still apply by the deadline. Lincoln County producers should contact their FSA office promptly about the correct application and evidence. This is a deadline reminder, not a determination of eligibility or a promise of payment.
